[Mayor Jennifer] Asay referred to the township's recent procurement of automated license plate readers, or ALPRs, that helped apprehend the suspects. The technology also aided in the arrest in May of suspected members of a South American theft group and, more recently, the Wednesday, July 24 arrest of two for multiple car burglaries.
